INTRODUCTORY NOTE

Thank you for choosing Corbett Treat Resort for your stay. We wish you a happy, enjoyable and fun-filled stay with us !!!

We want you to have a wonderful holiday experience and to use all the facilities at the resort safely. We are therefore taking every care to live up to the spirit of the Consumer Protection Act, which is meant to be of utmost benefit to you.

The Act says that we need to inform you at the time of your check-in at the Corbett Treat Resort, of the terms and conditions of your stay at the Corbett Treat Resort so that you are fully informed. This will also mean that when you arrive at the Corbett Treat Resort and are checking-in, there will be a minimal delay regarding the signing in process.

To comply with the Act, we are enclosing a copy of our Indemnity Form (acceptance of risk) for your and the members in your group's/party's attention. Please note that when you are checking-in at the Corbett Treat Resort, every adult in your group/party must sign the Indemnity Form on their own behalf, and if applicable also on the behalf of their minor children with them for the holiday/stay.

FORM OF INDEMNITY TO BE SIGNED WHEN CHECKING INTO THE RESORT

I/WE, the various persons listed below (hereinafter referred to as "we") have read and understand this form.

1. By signing this Form, we accept the conditions of residence and personal liability for all amounts arising from or due to my/our residence. We are aware of the facilities and activities provided at the Corbett Treat Resort and the risks that we have been made aware of in this document, and by our signature accept the terms of this indemnity and as such we agree to be bound by the following:

1.1 We obtained and read the information on the facilities and activities at Corbett Treat Resort by visiting www.corbetttreatresort.com and about the rules & regulations while visiting Corbett Tiger Reserve/Jim Corbett National Park (Core Area & Buffer Zone) on www.corbettonline.uk.gov.in

1.2 We have personally received the detailed briefing about the various risks associated with visiting Corbett Tiger Reserve/Jim Corbett National Park including but not limited to reaching the Corbett Treat Resort, staying and visiting the nearby local sight seeing area. We have been specifically briefed about the risks associated during the rainy period when the seasonal rivers/drains/canals/kaajwa's gets flooded with water and the movement of vehicles or persons becomes risky. We have been advised to not cross any such rivers/drains/canals/kaajwa's during the rainy period and rather wait till water subsides. We have also been briefed about the rules and regulations of the Corbett Tiger Reserve/Jim Corbett National Park during our movement & Jungle Safari's in the Jungle. Corbett Treat Resort has also displayed these official rules & regulations within the Resort premises and we have gone through them carefully. We have also been briefed about not entering in to the Jungle Area (Both Core Zone & Buffer Zone) with out the permission of the relevant Forest Officials.

1.3 We individually and on behalf of the members of my party/group for whom we are legally responsible (my children and those in my care, guardianship or custody) understand and accept that it is acondition of my/our stay at the Corbett Treat Resort and that the Corbett Treat Resort shall not beresponsible for any injury to or death of any person (unless causedby an act or omission) or the loss or destruction of or damage to any of my/our property at the Corbett Treat Resort, arising from the supply of goods and services at the Corbett Treat Resort except in the case of gross negligence of the Corbett Treat Resort or any associated loss.

1.4 Where appropriate, reference to the Resort includes the Operatorand/or its members and/or directors and/or employees and/oragents and/or suppliers and/ or the various operators associated with, contracted to or providing services on or to the Resort.

2. PERSONAL UNDERTAKING

2.1 We are aware of and accept that we and members of my/our partyfor whom we are legally responsible may be exposed to a variety of risks and dangers at the Corbett Treat Resort and, or associated directly or indirectly with, the use of accommodation and facilities, and participation in optional activities offered by the Corbett Treat Resort.

2.2 We realize that depending on the activities we choose to participate in, this may require of me/us to be in a good physical and mental condition and we warrant that we are in such a condition.

2.3 We agree at all times to obey, whether in the Corbett Treat Resort area orparticipating in any activity, any warning notices and instructions of the Corbett Treat Resort and/or the Operators, their management and/or the person in charge of the activity who in his/her sole discretion, may decide to cancel, terminate or curtail any activity at any stage for whatever reason in his/her sole discretion as he/she deems fit.

2.4 We undertake upon occupation to familiarise ourselves with the information on the facilities, activities and services available at the Corbett Treat Resort. MORE IMPORTANTLY to note and be familiar with all relevant emergency and Corbett Treat Resort staff contact numbers.

2.5 WE HAVE READ AND ACCEPT:

a) The terms and details contained in this Indemnity Form

b) The terms and conditions listed above
